INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMER ENGINEER (M/F)

Your duties consist of developing and maintaining relationships with your customers through technical support and advice (in partnership with general management and the sales department):

• Canvassing new customers
• Promoting products at trade fairs/exhibitions and during visits to customers/prospects
• Proposing solutions matching their needs
• Preparing price quotations
• Ensuring customer follow-up until completion of operations, as well as invoicing follow-up
• Demonstrating products to customers/prospects and training them to use the products and related applications
• Being the company’s technical reference point, both externally (customers/prospects) and internally (colleagues) for any questions relating to the products and the applications
• Through your field approach, analysing and reporting back relevant information aimed at product improvement and innovation
• Maintaining a regular link with current customers and distributors
• Monitoring competitors’ technology as well as providing great “after-sales service” for the products sold
• Producing various reports (sales results, distributor follow-up, etc.)

• Master’s in chemistry or material sciences
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Multilingual (at least FR/NL/EN) with excellent writing skills. Knowledge of German or any other language is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
